Turn a clip from an MP4, MOV or WebM video into an animated GIF in your browser, with your own in and out points, frame rate and width.
FreeImageKit converts video to GIF for free, in your browser, without uploading the video. Choose an MP4, MOV or WebM file, drag the in and out handles, set the frame rate (5–30 fps), width, colours and dithering, then make the GIF straight away or open the clip's frames in the GIF editor. A video engine of about 31 MB downloads once from this site and runs on your device. Videos up to 500 MB are accepted; clips can be up to 15 seconds at 720p or 30 seconds at 480p.

Use the same settings for several files, then download them separately or in a ZIP.
No. The video engine (FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly) is downloaded from this site once and converts the video on your device.
Up to 15 seconds when the GIF is larger than 480p (up to 720p), or up to 30 seconds at 480p or smaller. Editing frames is limited to 180 frames.
MP4, MOV and WebM files up to 500 MB, including H.264, HEVC, VP8 and VP9 video. If your browser cannot preview a file, the engine can usually still convert it.
The first time, the browser downloads the video engine (about 31 MB). It is cached, so later conversions start straight away.
